f you’re visiting Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, do yourself a favor and stop by Brewed Monday Coffee. These guys are the real deal. You can immediately tell they have a genuine passion for coffee, and there’s an incredible amount of science and care that goes into their bean selection and roasting process. I told them I was looking for a nice, thick, syrupy espresso with a slower extraction, and they were one of the first coffee shops that actually understood exactly what I meant! They dialed in a phenomenal shot that was rich, sweet, and beautifully syrupy. Exactly what I was hoping for. Their freshly roasted beans are outstanding. I bought a bag to take home, and they’ve been absolutely amazing on my E61 espresso machine. If you enjoy making espresso at home, I highly recommend ordering a bag online. They’re well worth it. Great people, incredible coffee, and a shop run by folks who truly care about the craft. I’ll definitely be back. ☕

They are knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. Great, ethically sourced beans, and you can’t beat the atmosphere at the beautiful aquarium. Highly recommended.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Justo, Owner & CFO, as well as Nick, Owner & CTO, and they are some of the kindest folks I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with! Before I began work as an artist in conservation I spent nearly a decade as a barista so I could talk shop with their whole crew all day. Even outside of the coffee aspects, their energy makes me want to hang out all day! That kindness and warmth is present with every single person working the kiosk, and only adds more love to the powerful (and delicious) coffee. I swear caffeine has never hit me as hard as theirs does, so near daily on my way up to the office at SEA I stop for an iced oat milk latte and it is ALWAYS perfect! Thanks for all y’all do at Brewed Monday, it’s going to be hard to drink coffee anywhere else again lol!
